Looking Back on 2016.

This past year was incredibly exciting for the company. What was your proudest moment of 2016?

Opening our Nashville Flagship tops the list. Each time I enter the store is my proudest moment. Realizing I am looking upon a store full of my designs is surreal.

The Nashville Flagship is beautiful! Where did you draw design inspiration from?

The Flagship is an extension of my home. You can see in the pictures below that I favor a clean aesthetic with striking details. My inspiration will always come from the beach and my love for interiors. You see that in the custom silk-velvet drapery hung in our archway and fitting rooms to the wood paneled wall reminiscent of driftwood. 

We introduced several new styles and collections in 2016. Which collection and style stood out to you and why?

The Fall Winter '16 Collection was my very favorite. The leathers made in collaboration with Italian tanneries were amazing and the structure they created was incomparable. I favored the Challon (pictured below) but wore the Mini Challon (also pictured below) in Mountain Mist more than anything.

What style are you most excited for from the Spring Summer '17 Collection?

I am most excited for the Clare, pictured below. It began as a sketch on a newspaper clipping and finished as a happy accident. It sat on my shelf for months, as I contemplated my new design. I then began to carry it and haven't looked back since. The Clare is the perfect statement bag at the perfect size.
