What we collect. When you order: name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, and order details. Card numbers go to our payment processor; we never see or store them. When you subscribe: your email address. When you browse: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed, via cookies and pixels.

Tracking we use. Shopify runs the store and sets the cookies checkout requires. Beyond that: Google Analytics 4 for traffic, Klaviyo for email, and Meta, Google & YouTube, and Pinterest for shopping and advertising. Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and of interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to stop sharing browsing data for advertising.

Email, not text. We email only people who asked, plus order notifications to buyers. We do not send marketing texts and do not sell or rent your address. If we start texting, we'll ask separately for your consent first.

Sharing. Only services that run the business: Shopify, our payment processor, shipping carriers, Klaviyo, the analytics and advertising services above, and the Shopify apps we use to build and merchandise the store. Also when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights. Any customer, anywhere, can ask us to show, correct, or delete their personal information, or stop using it for marketing. Email shop@cerihoover.com; we respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for asking. We're US-based, so ordering from abroad means your data comes here. UK and EEA customers may also object to our processing and complain to their local authority.

Retention, security, children. Order records stay for accounting and tax purposes; subscribers stay until they unsubscribe. The site is encrypted and payments meet PCI-DSS standards, though no transmission is perfectly secure. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
